Overview:
Insulfoam, LLC, one of the most respected names in polystyrene-based construction products is now even better. In May of 2007, Carlisle Construction Materials, a company known for its single-ply roof systems and waterproofing products, further broadened its product offering by acquiring Insulfoam, the largest manufacturer of expanded polystyrene (EPS) in North America. The Insulfoam acquisition confirms Carlisle's overall commitment to architects, building owners and contractors who want to promote and utilize energy-efficient construction products.
Premier Building Systems, a division of Insulfoam is North America's largest Structural Insulated Panel Manufacturer. Premier offer builders significant labor savings, faster close-in, and a true, square frame--every time. We help provide architects with a better, green solution for their designs and homeowners with a healthier, stronger home with significant energy savings.
The Insulfoam difference:
- Nine manufacturing facilities
- Exclusive focus on construction and building products

InsulFoam® GF
|
InsulFoam® GF (Geofoam) is a lightweight, geo-synthetic fill material that consists of closed-cell expanded polystyrene (EPS) and meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM D6817 Standard Specification for Rigid Cellular Polystyrene Geofoam. InsulFoam® GF is used both as an alternative to various fill-materials and as a soil stabilizer, and can also be used in various engineered applications. With a weight that is lighter than that of most fill materials, InsulFoam® GF is cost-effective and does not typically require surcharging, preloading, and staging often necessary in construction applications. InsulFoam® GF is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable, containing no HCFCs or formaldehyde. With superior stability, and long-term R-value, InsulFoam® GF resists insects, mold, decomposition and severe weather conditions, including freeze-thaw cycles and moisture.
