The Geoweb load support system strengthens and stabilizes granular infill materials, providing load distribution in key areas: base stabilization over weak soils or under paved surfaces, permeable surface stabilization for unpaved aggregate surfaces and temporary stabilization for site access. In a layered configuration, the Geoweb® earth retention system creates a structurally-stable retaining wall with a sustainable vegetative cover. Through confinement of a thick terraced topsoil layer, the system creates a natural environment for healthy growth of vegetation. Horizontal terraces maximize rainwater collection while minimizing runoff and erosion. The impervious cell face eliminates evaporation of soil moisture through the vertical profile of the front facia. The Geoweb® slope protection and stabilization system confines the infill material to resist anticipated hydraulic flows, inhibit erosion and minimize the downward migration of embankment materials. On vegetated slopes, the system increases erosion resistance by encapsulating and interlocking with the vegetative root zone. The system solves slope stability and protection issues in key areas: upper soil mass stabilization and erosion control, geomembrane protection (armored or vegetated), and slope weather proofing applications.
