Overview:
PROSOCO, Incorporated is a custom formulator of specialty cleaners and protective treatments for masonry and concrete. Products and services developed by PROSOCO are designed to improve the appearance and performance of architectural masonry. This high level of specialization makes PROSOCO, Inc. unique within the construction industry.
The United States Capitol Building, Grand Central Station, the World Trade Plaza, the Smithsonian Institute, Jacobs Field. . . PROSOCO products are a part of constructing, restoring, and preserving our present and our past.
Founded in 1939 by Mr. Albert J. Boyer as the Process Solvent Company, PROSOCO was originally a Kansas City-based producer of specialty cleaners and engine treatments for the automotive and railroad industries.
During the 1940's Mr. Boyer pursued promotion of his automotive specialties and expanded his product line to include industrial cleaners for concrete ready-mix trucks. This was the company's first experience with construction related products and led to the development of products for numerous other cleaning problems commonly found in construction work.
The 1950's saw great success for the company with the development of proprietary substitutes for raw muriatic/hydrochloric acid, and a range of concrete curing and sealing compounds. Since that time, PROSOCO has turned its full attention to construction and building maintenance products. The Sure KleanŽ product line has expanded into the most complete and widely recognized line of specialty cleaners for masonry surfaces.
