Radiation Protection Products' Leaded X-Ray Glass is suitable for installation in screens, walls, and doors. This allows viewing of the imaging procedures.
Radiation Protection Products' specially designed leaded x-ray safety glass consists of 1.6 mm leaded x-ray glass laminated to a piece of clear float. This design will help meet state specifications requiring both safety properties and lead properties in all vision panels (e.g., door lites, side lites, etc.).
Standard Steel Telescopic Lead Lined Frames match our Hollow Metal Door Frames. These lead lined window frames can be manufactured to accept any thickness of leaded x-ray glass or acrylic. Standard Steel Telescopic Frames can be steel braced for maximum strength.
Radiation Protection Products' lead lined doors are manufactured using only the finest materials and workmanship available. With constant quality control and ongoing inspection, you are assured of receiving the strongest and most functional lead lined doors possible.

The space-saving design of our Direct-Shielding sliding neutron doors has revolutionized accelerator room configuration. Our compact Direct-Shielded door eliminates the need for the traditional concrete maze floor plan. Our neutron sliding door allows for a smaller vault size, freezing up valuable space for other center functions. Other benefits include closer patient contact and smoother patient flow.
Radiation Protection Products uses only the purest lead available for our Sheet Lead. Absolutely no refining takes place at our facility, making us one of the cleanest, most environmentally friendly radiation shielding providers in the industry, providing you with the highest quality sheet lead available.
When mobile shielding is required, Radiation Protection Products has cost-effective, mobile x-ray barriers available for your specifications, and can produce them expediently to meet your deadlines. We can custom manufacture an x-ray barrier to meet your design specifications.
Lead sheet serves as the ideal sound barrier (attenuator) because it is both dense and limp. Other acoustical materials in its sound transmission class can be applied in greater thicknesses in an attempt to achieve the same transmission loss, but there is a point at which they gain stiffness that negates the effectiveness of their density.
Advantages of using lead for sound attenuation include:
Radiation Protection Products' custom fabricated lead roof flashings consist of a lead pipe boot burned to a sheet lead base. To seal to the vent pipe, simply roll the open end of the malleable lead boot to the inside of vent pipe.
The Standard weights of lead are 2½, 3 and 4 lb. Heavier weights (6 and 8 lb) are available by special order. See instructions for ordering.
