|
Trimline® VariaVent™ Ridge Vent combines ridge ventilation and variable weather blocking in one product. Each vent comes in a 4-foot section with aluminum weather blocking already attached. The variability of the weather blocking will allow the vent to fit any tile on the market, while forming a weather-tight seal. Trimline VariaVent Ridge Vent meets the Tile Roof Institute’s requirements for weather blocking and ventilation. Available in four different colors: Terra Cotta, Sand, French Clay and Charcoal.

Trimline Ridge Vents are a shingle-over ventilation system, meaning they can be used with three tab or dimensional (architectural) shingles at the ridge. Since the vent is covered with shingles it is virtually invisible from the ground creating curb appeal to any home.

Flow-Thru Battens by Trimline Building Products are designed to allow moisture drainage and air movement under tiles. Replacing traditional cedar or redwood batten strips, Flow-Thru Battens provide long-lasting stability for the placement and a secure foundation during the installation process. Installation is quick and easy because Flow-Thru Battens unique design eliminates the need for lath and battens (counter batten) applications and is easier to apply than traditional battens. Trimline's Flow-Thru Battens can be attached to the deck using a coil nail or staple gun and come in lightweight, 8-foot fold-out pieces that are easy to handle.

Trimline Flow-Thru furring strips feature a ventilation system to help protect your exterior cladding from the damaging affects of moisture. This moisture can come in the form of wind-driven rain outside the home or moisture vapor from inside the home. In either case this moisture can remain trapped between the exterior cladding/siding and the building paper/house wrap. This unvented moisture can have a negative impact on the siding or cladding system as well as the building paper or house wrap. This trapped moisture can also lead to mold and mildew, causing potential heath concerns and an unhealthy living environment. Unvented moisture can also severely reduce the service life of the siding system, paint and stain.

Trimline Soffit Ventilation Strips by Trimline Building Products provide even and continuous air movement along the underside of roof sheathing. Trimline Soffit Ventilation Strips help achieve a balanced ventilation system by providing the required air intake at the eaves. This air intake provides uninterrupted air flow, allowing heat and moisture to be exhausted at the peak of the roof. Trimline Ventilation Strips are adaptable to a variety of roof applications and are easy to install. For homes with zero overhang, refer to off-peak/eve application to use Trimline Ridge Vent as an intake vent.
