|
H-Shield flat polyiso is the core of the Hunter product line. For the roof system designer who demands that function come first, H-Shield is the definitive answer. A closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core is bonded during a continuous process to fiber reinforced or fiberglass facers to produce a rigid 4’x8’ or 4’x4’ panel.

TAPERED H-SHIELD
|
The elimination of ponding water on a roof surface extends the life of the roofing membrane, reduces structural burden and discourages mold and algae. This sloped rigid roof insulation is produced on-line in 1/8", ¼”, 3/16" or ½" per foot. 4’x4’ panels to promote positive drainage. Hunter Panels team will work with you from start to finish to engineer the appropriate tapered design for your roof configuration and drainage requirements.

|

TAPERED H-SHIELD-WF
|
Tapered Polyiso bonded in the manufacturing process to ½” high-density wood fiberboard. Tapered H-Shield WF is ideal for high traffic areas and fully adhered single-ply applications. Tapered H-Shield WF is available in thicknesses of 1.5” to 4”.

H-SHIELD-NB
|
Polyiso bonded in the manufacturing process to OSB combines the insulating properties of polyiso with a nailable base in a single layer application. H-Shield NB has superior pullout values for use in standing metal roof systems and incorporates APA rated Exposure 12 Oriented Strand Board. The OSB is routed on line to allow for expansion and contraction of the joints. H-Shield NB is available in 47 ½ x 95 ½” panels in thicknesses of 1.5” to 4” with either 7/16” or 5/8” OSB.

COOL-VENT
|
The hottest product in the Hunter line-up, we think of Cool-Vent as the Mercedes Benz of Vented Nailboards. Built for rigidity and ease of handling, Cool-Vent consists of a 4’x8’ panel of polyiso, wood spacers and a top layer of OSB or plywood. CoolVent is made specifically for Cathedral Ceilings, Log, Post and Beam and Timber Frame applications. Cool-Vent meets shingle manufacturers warranty requirements for ventilated systems and is ideal for under shake, tile or metal panel applications.

|
Tapered H-Shield-CG is a sloped rigid roof insulation panel composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded on-line to coated glass fiber matt facers (gray). Tapered H-Shield-CG is designed to promote positive drainage and prevent ponding water. For best results, use Hunter Panels Tapered Shop Drawings.
