Weathermix®

Weathermix® Building contractors in cold weather climates are discovering that when the weather turns frightful, Lafarge's Weathermix can be just the solution they need.

Weathermix mixes were technologically formulated to address the needs of our customers to extend their construction season. By allowing the placement of concrete in a wide range of cold weather and sub-freezing temperatures down to below -7OC (or 20OF), our customers are able to reduce the need for costly heating and hoarding. With accelerated set times, they are also able to maintain timely scheduling and attain quicker project turnover. The overall saving in both equipment and labor costs is the reason why Weathermix has become a mainstay product during the winter. And so, we are now taking the success of this product in Eastern Canada to launch the product in several markets, including Buffalo, Baltimore, Kansas City, Denver Metro, Atlanta, Calgary, and Edmonton. At the same time, we will be conducting testing to develop a suitable product for hot weather applications as well.
