Kastner Metals operated by Embury Company was established in 1953 and was the first continuous coil anodizing firm in North America. Presently the only coil anodizer in Canada, the dual aspect of the firm's activities -coil anodizing for some of the world's largest metal fabricators, and a long history of custom metal fabrication for a multitude of clients -provides a unique product assurance and single source responsibility, leading to wider and better application of metal products for architectural use. Presently owning and operating two plants in the Toronto area, Kastner Metals operated by Embury Company continues to develop in the U.S. and Canada under the direction of founder and president, Gustav Kastner.

Aluminum composite panels can be used in new construction or renovation for both interior and exterior use using either a dry joint system or a chaulked system. They can be constructed for wall panelling, canopy cladding, store fronts, soffits, and decorative column cover for non-bearing use only. The panels can have a painted or anodized finish in various colours. Contact Kastner Metals for available colours.

Emburite II – 3mm (.125”) Building Panel

Emburite II 3mm (.125”) aluminum plate panel are used in a variety of applications. It is light weight, easily formable and can be supplied in large sheet sizes. Emburite II is used in new construction and/or renovation for either exterior of interior applications. Building types include commercial, industrial, and institutional. Typical uses include, wall panelling, curtain wall, spandrel, fascia, soffits including ceiling panels, beam cladding, store fronts, sill and cap flashings, column covers, enclosure panels, accent strips, corners, jambs, etc. These products are for non lead bearing use only.

Stainless Steel Cladding

Various claddings are used in new construction and renovations of existing buildings. They are used to enhance the appearance of entrances, walkways, fascias, soffits, and curtainwalls for exterior and interior applications. A variety of metals are used in high traffic areas because of their durability. An example is casinos which require strength and an appealing look. Decorative claddings are for non load bearing use only.

Column Covers

Column covers can be used in new construction or renovation for interior and/or exterior use. They are used extensively in main entrances of commercial and various other building designs. Column covers are aesthetically pleasing. They can be fabricated from various metals and finishes which are durable. They are used to clad over steel, wood, concrete, and/or other materials. Decorative columns are for non load bearing use only.

Insulated Sandwich Panels

Insulated infill panels can be used in new construction or renovation for industrial, commercial, institutional application and for interior or exterior use. They are primarily used in window replacements where thermal upgrades and interior partitions are required.

For all architectural and other aluminum fabrications requiring a protective and/or decorative finish. EPC anodized aluminum can be handled without fear of damaging the finish, especially from operations such as shearing, forming, cutting, bending, or stamping. Uses for EPC continuous coil anodized aluminum include curtainwall, store fronts and entrances, fascia, trim, column covers, sun control devices, industrial siding facings, flashing, residential siding and similar exterior and interior applications.

Extrusions Curved & Bending

Bent profiles are used in new construction or renovation projects. They include church windows and arches, barrel vaults, stain stringers, handrails, railings and casings, and expansion joints. Bent profiles are also used for framing systems for curvilinear walls and/or ceilings. Curved main entrances of commercial and other building designs are often used to provide a distinctly different architectural look.
