SAF Aluminum Sheets
	Aluminum Sheet		click to enlarge SAF is proud of our stock of aluminum sheet. We offer many prefinished sheets such as clear anodized, bronze anodized, and bone white painted, as well as custom anodized and custom painted sheets.
SAF Extrusions
	Aluminum Extrusions		click to enlarge ALL of the extrusions SAF carries can be custom anodized and shipped out the next day. If you order 100 lbs., SAF will cover the freight. We have no minimums. Extrusions are taped together, wrapped in plastic, and packed in cardboard boxes. Pieces shorter than 8' are shipped on Fed Ex or UPS. Pieces longer than 8' are shipped on common carrier. Most alloys are 6063. We carry heavy inventories of all of our aluminum extrusion including square aluminum tube, rectangular aluminum tube, aluminum channel, and aluminum angle. Our goal is to be the fastest supplier of mill finished, anodized, and painted extrusions in the world.

Fabricating and Finishing
	Fabricating		click to enlarge SAF Metal Fabrication was started in February 2003. In five years Southern Aluminum Finishing Company has tripled their volume of architectural metal work. Being able to distribute, fabricate, and finish architectural metals is an advantage that we pass on to our customers. SAF Metal Fabrication specializes in quality products, quick turn-around, and competitive pricing. With a California fabrication facility and a Georgia fabrication facility, SAF covers all of your North American architectural fabrication needs.
	Painting		click to enlarge AF has been Kynar painting since 1968 and we are now painting AAMA 2605 powder coats. We recently closed the paint line that opened in 1976 and opened a state-of-the-art automated paint line at our fabrication facility in Villa Rica, Georgia. We are approved applicators of both PPG, Valspar, and Akzo Nobel. Whether you provide us with the paint manufacturers paint number or you have a sample you would like SAF to match, we can meet your metal finishing needs. When material needs to be painted after it is fabricated SAF can provide a turnkey solution. If you would like to fabricate the material yourself, SAF can provide the painted stock. If you already have the metal, you can ship it to SAF to paint.
	Anodizing		click to enlarge A highly durable and inexpensive finish for aluminum. January 6th, 2009- SAF adds gold anodizing to it's Atlanta manufacturing facility. SAF is now offering its gold anodized finish out of the Atlanta, Georgia headquarters. SAF’s Atlanta facility recently added the dyed gold anodize process to its existing line of clear and bronze anodized finishes and effectively broadens the color spectrum available for SAF.

	Panel and Clip System	Series NM500	click to enlarge The SAF Series NM500 easy clip system is our least expensive wet seal (caulked) system. The system uses a series of staggered clip angles along the routed and returned edges of the panel. The clip angles are factory attached in such a manner to allow for non-progressive installation and removal of any panel without disturbing adjacent panels. This system can also be offered with shipped loose clip angles for field attachment to the panels giving installation personnel more flexibility of clip angle location and panel installation. Also, the NM500 system allows the building owners to affordably and easily replace a damaged panel in the future..
	Glazed Wall Panels	Series 3000	The SAF Series 3000 wet sealed (caulked) panel system is designed for better structural integrity and better water/vapor protection. While the 3000 is a caulked system, the design adds an extra level of protection from water penetrating the substrate, though no system is completely immune to vapor/water penetration. Additionally, this system is designed for higher wind loads and flatter panels. This system uses continuous “male” and “female” extrusions factory attached along the routed and returned edges of the panel creating a progressive installation method. The 3000 system may be manufactured with factory applied stiffeners to prevent “oil-canning.”
	Rain Screen Panels	Series 4000	The SAF Series 4000 rain screen panel system is a drained and back ventilated system incorporating a strip of composite material in the reveal between each panel in lieu of caulk resulting in a more uniform appearance. The rain screen Series 4000 system comes complete with fabricated panels along with shipped loose “track” extrusions. The fabricated panels include a “frame” extrusion, factory attached to the routed and returned edges of the panel, that fits conveniently into the field installed horizontal and vertical “track” extrusions. SAF’s 4000 rain screen is designed to allow moisture to permeate the outside wall, but subsequently drain through weep holes along the bottom edge of each panel. While any remaining moisture is designed to evaporate, the outside wall is not designed to act as a water/vapor barrier for the building.
