Cincinnati, OH, October 17, 2007 — Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC has recently earned certifications from SCS (Scientific Certification Systems) for their ResinDek® mezzanine decking panels.
These certifications are provided to support the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating systems, which was created to establish a common standard of measurement for what constitutes a “green” building. LEED® provides certifications to companies that want to document their environmentally friendly practices for the construction of new buildings and maintenance of existing buildings. All ResinDek® flooring panels are eligible for LEED® Credits MR 4.1, 4.2, and potentially 5.1 and 5.2 within 500 miles of Louisville, Kentucky
