ISO Container Buildings

A&S, LLC ISO Container Buildings

Steel reinforced ISO containers offer enormous structural strength advantages over traditional wood, steel, and concrete building systems...at a fraction of the cost.

The recycled shipping containers are built to be stacked up to 9 stories and to withstand hurricane force winds...The steel supports and wall construction material offers an extremely high level of fire resistance...All units ordered and built-out by A&S have 6" centers for floor support and welded steel columns on the four corners...Because of this structural strength the foundation or pad design is simplier and less expensive allowing for more of the building budget to go towards exterior design and interior finishes.

The inherent modularity of design capabilities allows A&S to prepare and build-out the containers at our plant with delivery directly to the building project site...further reducing on-site construction costs and time.

Steel construction throughout also offers: fire resistance, insect resistance, mold resistance using mold retardent drywall, and virtually unlimited life-span.

A&S's experience with concrete tilt-up construction goes back to the days of its beginning use in building. Dr. John Alexander was an orginial designer and engineer for the use of this technology which is now used throughout the world as a cost-effective, resilient, and strong format for building shells and large internal building components.

Today's concrete tilt-up comes in various forms. A&S specializes in light-weight concrete tilt-up concrete panels which we manufacture at our plant or on the construction site.

Light-weight tilt-up offers numerous advantages over "stick" construction: fire resistance, insect resistance, water resistance, strength and durabililty, sustainability by using natural materials which are plentiful, and up to 50% lighter than standard concrete tilt-up.
