Flannery's Universal Weep Screed (Patent #5,630,297) is a formed metal product which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as a typical weep screed with a unique benefit. The benefit to the Universal Weep Screed is the longer return flange on the bottom of the screed, which allows for a tight fit against concrete foundations. Standard weep screeds have a shorter return leg, which can be an issue when installed over steel or wood framed buildings that utilize wood sheathing. Typically, framing members are set at the edge of the foundation and the sheer panels are fastened to the framing. This then creates a gap between a typical weep screed and the concrete foundation. By lengthening the lower return leg, the Universal Weep Screed rests firmly against the concrete foundation eliminating the possible gap.
The Standard Weep Screed is a formed metal product which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as an outlet for moisture that may reach the area between the plaster cement and the water resistant barrier in a stucco installation.
The Plaster J Stop is a formed metal product, which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as a termination point for plaster cement and is available with or without 3/16" Weep Holes.
The Beveled J Shape is a formed metal product, which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as a decorative screed to protect the edge of a plaster cement application when it is in conjunction with a prefabricated cement wall. While it is similar to the Plaster J Stop, the ground leg on the Beveled J Shape has a 60° Angle.
The Stucco Banding Bead (SBB) can be used horizontally to protect raised bands on a stucco wall. When placed over foam "pop-outs," it can form a barrier to prevent water from penetrating the raised plaster band. The Stucco Banding Bead is a formed metal product that can be produced from Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel.
The Special W Mold is a formed metal product, which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as a metal transition between two dissimilar materials Each leg on the Special W Mold can vary in width.
The Plaster Inside Corner is a formed metal product, which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as an inside corner trim to aid in the prevention of cracking where two walls meet. It can also be utilized as a clean juncture point where a soffit meets a vertical wall.
The Brake Angle is a formed metal product, which is available in Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, and Stainless Steel. It serves as a metal angle which can be used for a number of purposes, particularly as an edge trim. The angle of the Brake Angle can vary between 90º and 180º.

Flannery's Wide Flange Bullnose was our original bullnose corner. We call it "Wide Flange" because of its wider 7/8" nailing flange, which is 1/4" larger than typical bullnose cornerbeads. Many trim installers prefer the larger flange, since it gives them a larger fastening surface. Wide Flange Bullnose Corners have the same 3/4" radius as their smaller flanged counterparts. Flannery offers a variety of lengths for its Wide Flange Corners, including 7', 8', 9', and 10' lengths.
Flannery's Splayed (or Open Angle) Bullnose is perfect for two walls that meet and create a 135° Outside Corner. It allows for a rounded corner look even at walls that do not meet at a 90° Angle. Our 135° Splay Bullnose has the same flange width of 5/8" as our Short Flange Bullnose Cornerbead. We offer our "Open Angle" Bullnose in a variety of lengths including 7', 8', 9, and 10'.
Flannery's Short Flange Bullnose has become the standard for bullnose corners in the drywall industry. We call it "Short Flange" because its 5/8" nailing flange is the smallest nail flange of our different bullnose corners. Short Flange Bullnose Corners have a 3/4" radius and fit 90° corners. Flannery offers a variety of lengths for our Short Flange Bullnose Corners, including 7', 8', 9', and 10' lengths.
Flannery is the only cornerbead manufacturer to offer Expanded Flange Bullnose. Our Expanded Flange Bullnose has special taping holes that run the length of the trim, thus allowing taping compound and drywall mud to key through the drywall. Many trim installers prefer the larger flange, since it gives them a larger fastening surface. Expanded Flange Bullnose Corners have a 3/4" nailing flange and the same 3/4" radius as their smaller flanged counterparts.
Flannery has been manufacturing Corner Caps for over 20 years and we have developed the 3-Way Locking Corner Cap (Patent #5,647,182) to be the last Corner Cap that you will ever want to use. This Bullnose Corner Cap allows three lines of bullnose to meet each other at one point.
If you desire to create an inexpensive reveal at the base or crown of a wall, try using Flannery's Steel Shadow Mold. It can also be installed around doors and windows. Our Steel Shadow Mold, or "Z Metal" as some have coined it, is a transition between drywall and other materials.
Flannery's Steel Fast Mask® is a taper's dream come true. While many drywall trims need to be masked before mud, tape, and paint can be applied, Fast Mask® requires no such step. Fast Mask® has a built in masking strip that only needs to be pulled once the drywall and paint job is complete. By cutting one of the most tedious steps out of the installation of drywall trim, Fast Mask® reduces the contractor's costs.
Flannery's Bullnose Kerf is an excellent trim for transitioning from drywall to a door or window frame. It allows the installer to maintain the "rounded" look of a bullnose cornerbead around a door or window frame. The Bullnose Kerf trim has a 7/8" fastening flange with a taping bead for easy finishing. The other flange on the Bullnose Kerf is a 3/16" flange which is inserted into a notch that must be cut out of the door or window frame. We offer a variety of lengths for the Bullnose Kerf, including 7', 8', 9', and 10'.
If you have specified or installed Bullnose Cornerbead on your project already, then you may want to consider using Flannery's Bullnose Door & Window Trim to complete the "rounded corner" style of design. Our Bullnose Door & Window Trim allows you to have a clean and smooth Bullnose transition between drywall and your doors or windows. The Bullnose Door & Window Trim comes in both a 1/2" or 5/8" width and is slid over the edge of the drywall.
Flannery’s Comp Clip (Patent Pending) is a revolutionary fastening clip for steel studs and is composed of 20 Gauge Spring Steel. The Comp Clip is inserted around a metal stud and then “slid” into position over the deflection track. Since the Comp Clip is slid onto the deflection track it allows it to have 100% unobstructed movement. It also allows the installer to install Comp Clips to both sides of the stud from just one side.
Have you noticed how that taping trowel you bought at the local hardware store just isn't getting the job done with your bullnose corners? It may not be working because it was designed for square corners and not the rounded bullnose corners that you have just installed. Flannery's Bullnose Trowel was designed specifically for 3/4" Bullnose Corners. Flannery has been manufacturing our special Bullnose Trowel for over 20 years.
Flannery's Bullnose Base Plugs are the most inexpensive solution for filling the gap between wood base or crown moulding and bullnose corners. Typically, most installers of base molding must stuff some kind of filler into the gap between the molding and the cornerbead. Messy caulk and wood scraps cannot replace the finished look that Flannery's Bullnose Base and Crown Plugs provide. The Base Plugs are tapered to ensure a snug fit. They fit any base or crown corner with a 3/4" radius, no matter the thickness or height.
Flannery's Square Flex Arch Corners are perfect for archways and curved walls. Flexible Square Corners are standard extruded vinyl and create 90° angles for the corners of your archways or walls. Install with nails, screws, construction staples, or adhesive.
Flannery's Bullnose Flex Arch corners produce clean and true angles for any radius created by a curved wall or archway. Years ago, when Flannery began manufacturing Bullnose Cornerbead, we received several requests for flexible corners that would adjust to the rigors of an archway. We began producing Steel Flex Arch, which is still available (upon request), but after a few years we started producing Vinyl Corners. Flexible Bullnose Corners are standard extruded vinyl and have a 3/4" radius, which fit 90° outside corners. During installation, the drywall must be kept back a 1/4" from the corner of the framing to allow for the curve of the bullnose corner. Install with nails, screws, construction staples, or adhesive.
Flannery's Furring Screws allow for consistent spacing between welded or woven wire and building paper. Furring nails have been available for years, but could only be utilized with wood framing. Now, Flannery's Furring Screws can be used for both steel and wood framing. Our Furring Screws were designed to ensure proper embedment of wire into the stucco. When installing Flannery's Furring Screws, the wire strand must be placed in the wad slot to protect against wad rotation caused by the screw gun. Flannery's Furring Screws can be purchased in different sizes (1 1/4", 1 5/8" and 1 7/8") with the wads attached. The Furring Wads themselves are also available for purchase separately.
Flannery's Aluminum Universal Weep Screed (Patent #5,630,297) is an extruded vinyl product. It serves as a typical weep screed with a unique benefit. The benefit to the Vinyl Universal Weep Screed is the longer return flange on the bottom of the screed, which allows for a tight fit against concrete foundations.
Flannery offers several different finishes for its aluminum trims. The standard Flannery finish is Clear Anodized (Architectural 200R1), but we also offer special Color Anodizing. An Anodized finish is an electrochemical conversion process that deposits an oxide film on the aluminum trim. A natural oxidation process occurs on bare aluminum, however producing the oxidation process artificially creates a thicker, harder, and more durable “oxide film.” Clear Anodized is an extremely durable finish and is resistant to most forms of corrosion.
Flannery has been well represented for years by the Green Shamrock in its logo. Now, it is time that we were more fully engaged in the "Green" movement that is taking place in the construction industry. That is why Flannery is proud to declare our continued membership and commitment to the work being accomplished by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Their tireless efforts over the past 16 years have inspired us to continually review the way we manufacture and supply building materials to the construction industry. We are committed to implementing new ways to run our manufacturing plant that are more environmentally responsible. Our goal is to produce products that are viable and sustainable for the future of our industry and our planet.
