		A.	Installer Qualifications: Products listed in this section are to be installed by a single installer with a minimum of five years demonstrated experience in installing products and systems of the same type and scope as specified.
		B.	Source Quality Control: Products specified in this Section shall be manufactured by a single manufacturer, or acceptable to the manufacturer of the primary products.

	3.1	EXAMINATION
		A.	Do not begin installation until substrates have been prepared in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
		B.	If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
	3.2	PREPARATION
		A.	Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
		B.	Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
		C.	Provide protection for adjacent work areas and finish surfaces from damage during product installation.
	3.3	INSTALLATION
		A.	Install in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions. Anchor signage system assembly as indicated on Drawings and approved shop drawings.

		B.	Direct Burial Installations:
			1.	Bore required holes to a diameter at least 4 times as large as the largest post cross- section and to a minimum depth of at least 36 inches (914 mm) below grade.
			2.	Below grade post section shall have bituminous coating sufficient to prevent oxidation.
			3.	Place gravel, sand or crushed stone in bored hole to allow for proper drainage.
			4.	Ensure unit is square, level and plumb prior to placement of concrete.
