	1.7	PROJECT CONDITIONS
		A.	Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.
	1.8	WARRANTY
		A.	Manufacturer warrants that products will be free of defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service and subject to the conditions of the contract.

	2.1	MANUFACTURERS

	2.2	HEAD RAIL CONSTRUCTION
		A.	Product: Decomatic Vertical Head Rail System as manufactured by Sunteca Systems, Inc.
		B.	Construction:
			1.	Head rail shall be made of anodized extruded aluminum alloy 6063-T5, 1-1/2 inches by 1 inch (38 mm x 25 mm). Maximum traversing width of 240 inches (6096 mm). Nominal extrusion wall thickness .045 inch (1.15 mm).
			2.	Tilt shaft shall be made of anodized extruded aluminum alloy 6063-T5 1/4 inch (6 mm) diameter single groove.
			3.	Carrier is heavy duty, UV stabilized, self-aligning, 5/16 inch (7.94 mm) wide with two wheels, molded of self lubricating plastic such as Celcon. The carriers shall have a geared clutch system for overload protection and a steel clutch spring to reinforce positive action. Unit shall have a stabilizer bar designed to fit into the extruded slot in the aluminum head rail to provide for the smooth traversing along the entire width of the head rail. Carrier hooks are made of clear, UV stabilized Lexan.
			4.	Carrier hooks are replaceable for onsite repair without removal or disassembly of the head rail.
			5.	Control chain made of (#6) molded Celcon beads on a nylon cord or qualified (#6) metal chain. One full cycle "13-1/2 inches" (343 mm) of the control chain shall self align the vanes.
			6.	Stack release for convenient window cleaning.
			7.	Spacer links made of flexible, corrosion resistant, stainless steel, and interlocked between carriers to provide smooth traversing. Spacers 0.2374 inch x 0.00748 inch (6.03 mm x.19 mm). Spacing system designed for 2 inches (51 mm), 3-1/2 inches (89 mm), 4 inches (102 mm) and 5 inches (127 mm) vane widths. Spacing is equal on all vane widths. Special spacing is available up to 8 inches (203 mm), upon request.

	3.1	EXAMINATION
		A.	Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.

	3.2	PREPARATION
		A.	Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
		B.	Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
	3.3	INSTALLATION
		A.	Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
	3.4	PROTECTION
