Lead-Lined Hollow Metal Door Frames: 16 gage (1.5 mm) welded steel frames with 4-7/8 inches (124 mm) throat and 2 inches (51 mm)
face. Provide angle iron spot welded at 6 inches (152 mm) on center, and anchor bolts to secure frame if lead thickness is 1/8 inch (3 mm)
or greater. Design lead-lined door frames to accommodate lead lining up to 1/2 inch (13 mm) thick.
Radiation Shielding Leaded Glass: Clear leaded glass containing a minimum 48 percent lead oxide (by weight) and 15 percent barium.
Thickness as required to provide radiation protection equivalent to that provided by sheet lead in partition in which lead glass is installed.
