          1.5DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

          B.Store and dispose of hazardous materials, and materials contaminated by hazardous materials, in accordance with requirements of local authorities having jurisdiction.
 
          1.6PROJECT CONDITIONS
 
          A.Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.
 
          1.7WARRANTY
 
          A.At project closeout, provide to Owner or Owners Representative an executed copy of the manufacturer's standard limited warranty against manufacturing defect, outlining its terms, conditions, and exclusions from coverage.

          2.2PRO-SERIES WASHER- EXTRACTORS
 
          A.Pro-Series Washer-Extractor - General Characteristics:
          1.Cylinder (inner/outer) module front face and door frame material: AISI Type 304. Cabinet (Top/Lower Front/ Pillars/Sides) material: Titan coated steel.
          2.Cycle Selection: Unit provides a minimum of 79 laundry cycles with a minimum of 59 cycles that may be customized to adapt to specific linen processing requirements.
          3.Programmable Controls:
          a.Equipped with a microprocessor control allowing adjustment of wash/rinse temperatures, water level up to a minimum of six (6) levels, three (3) pre-programmed rotation options plus "0" rotation and the ability to program any on/off rotation combination.
          b.Allows programming of up to ninety-nine (99) minutes per phase, delay start control, display cycle progress through LED indicator located on control panel and shall allow management to limit operator programming through the use of a program access key and cycle lockout function.
          4.Water Temperature Control/Progressive Cool Down: Operator controlled pre-set wash temperatures from 33 degrees F to 194 degrees F (0.5 degrees C - 90 degrees C) to adapt to specific linen treatment specifications and/or government sanitary regulations. Water inlet valve shall be thermostatically controlled. Steam or Electric auxiliary heat units shall be available to field retrofit at the user option at anytime. Unit shall be capable of a gradual reduction of water temperature from wash to rinse so to reduce fabric shock/wrinkles. Reduction shall be limited to no more than 7 degrees F (14 degrees C) per minute until 113 degrees F (45 degrees C) is reached.
          5.Noise & In-Line Filters:
          a.No more than 70 dB (Measured Equivalent Continuous) at the workstation of the unit.
          b.Standard in-line circuit filters that reduce induced noise and radiating noise for output wiring.
          c.Standard in-line DC reactor for improving the input power-factor and reducing harmonics when the voltage imbalance exceeds 2 percent.

          6.Water Re-Use System: All control function, and ability to allow a field added water reclamation system capable of reclaiming rinse water for use in subsequent wash, pre-wash and initial rinse phases - select models only.
          7.Automatic Chemical Injection/Chemical Dispenser: Five (5) independent chemical injection connections for automatic dispensing of liquid chemicals with a minimum of five (5) independent activation signals. For safety purposes all connection ports shall be mounted on the rear of the machine. Unit equipped with a top mounted four(4)- compartment pre-wash and wash detergent/bleach/softener dispenser.

          2.3E-SERIES WASHER - EXTRACTORS
 
          A.E-Series Washer-Extractor General Characteristics:

          2.Noise & In-Line Filters:
          a.No more than 70 dB (Measured Equivalent Continuous) at the workstation of the unit.

          3.Wash Wheel and Lifters:

          B.E-Series Washer-Extractor - Logi Control General Characteristics:
          1.Programmable Extraction: High extract shall be a minimum of 300 G-force with the ability to program any one of six (6) extract speeds.
          2.Cycle Selection: Maximum of eight (8) laundry cycles to ensure maximum simplicity. Cycles may be customized to adapt to specific linen processing requirements with the ability to program a minimum of two (2) and no more than nine (9) baths (fills) to ensure thorough cleaning and flexibility.
          3.Programmable Controls:
          a.Programmable microprocessor control with 8-cycle programs with the ability to program up to nine (9) phases. A phase consists of no less than four (4) programmable fill levels, adjustable fill temperatures in six of nine phases, automatic chemical injection and the ability to program at least three (3) on/off rotation combinations for flush, wash and rinse phases.
          b.Programming a of up to eight (8) minutes per phase for flush and rinse baths and at least twenty (20) minutes for wash, programmable extract, delay start control, display cycle progress through LED indicator located on control panel and shall allow management to limit operator programming through the use of a secret access code and cycle lockout function.
          4.Water Temperature Control: Thermostatically controlled water inlet valve. Operator may set pre-set wash temperatures from 32 degrees F to 140 F (0 - 40 degrees C) for designated phases. Wash phase shall allow programmable temperatures from 32 degrees F to 194 degrees F (0 - 90 degrees C) to adapt to specific linen treatment specifications and/or government sanitary regulations.
          5.Progressive Cool Down: Capable of a gradual reduction of water temperature from wash to rinse so to reduce fabric shock/wrinkles. Reduction shall be no more than 7 degrees F per minute from 194 degrees F to 130 degrees F (90 degrees C - 54 degrees C).

          3.1EXAMINATION
 
          A.Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.

          3.2PREPARATION
 
          A.Clean surfaces thoroughly prior to installation.
 
          B.Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.
 
          C.Check surfaces for level prior to installing equipment. If surfaces are not in an acceptable condition, notify the Architect immediately of the condition.
 
          3.3INSTALLATION
 
          A.Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
 
          B.Install all hookups in accordance with UPC and NEC requirements.
 
          3.4PROTECTION
